Janet L. Heywood brings over 17 years of healthcare and corporate interior design experience to Manning Design Group. After earning a BS in Interior Design from the University of Arizona, Ms. Heywood joined the University Medical Center in Tucson, AZ, serving as lead designer and project manager on projects ranging from small renovations to department relocations. A move to Raleigh led to a position with a highly recognized Herman Miller dealer, where Ms. Heywood was the lead healthcare designer, working with hospitals throughout eastern North Carolina to program and design their clinical spaces.

As a senior designer for Manning Design Group, Ms. Heywood brings an understanding of the functional requirements of clinical spaces, and successfully addresses the aesthetics needed for creating healing environments.
