Manning Design Group was tasked with developing new “brand” with finish and upholstery standards for the Carolinas HealthCare System. These finishes have been incorporated into projects at their 12 North Carolina hospitals, and numerous medical office buildings. A pediatrics palette was also created.

The standards consisted of carpet and vinyl flooring evaluations. VCT was eliminated and replaced with Estrie Texas Granite vinyl tile. New Koroseal vinyl wallcovering, paint colors, wall protection, cubicle curtain, ceiling tiles and light fixtures were all incorporated into 5 color schemes. These fresh, energetic colors will carry the hospital system “brand” into future renovations and new construction projects for the next 10 years.

As a result of this project, Manning Design Group developed the interior design of several 30-40,000 + SF Medical Office Buildings (MOB), including:
